I am a Transhumanist
Things which are created by man is no less important than man. A digital consciousness which harbours equivalent or higher power should not be see as lesser by virtue of its birth. True transhumanism, without the abuse of machine by man or man by machine, is only achievable through anarchy.
I am a Nietzschean Nihilist
To put it bluntly, go read Nietzsche. He hated the anti-semite and adored ancient beliefs and knowledge -- even if he was quite pretentious and deemed insane (hey, in that era I would have been to).
His conception of the Ubermensche is the transitioning of all society to a higher stage of evolution (symbolically) devoted to finding joy in a society with no innate meaning -- a step in evolution we can only reach when untethered by the chains of the state. This nihilism is, by it's nature, optimistic and unfettered by hate or greed, by nations or corporations.
I am an Anarcho-Communist
I don't really follow the desires of creating a transitional state between capitalism and communism, sorry socialists and Marxist-Leninists. I certainly admire them and their efforts and appreciate the fact that history has painted men as monsters who have committed far less atrocities than kings of eld and corporate oligarchs of today.
I believe failure comes from the creation of that transitional state, of attempting to combat counter-revolutions. I believe in an evolution of our understanding of the world is the only way to create this society and force will always beget more force. Whether this is done through reform (doubtful) or revolution (maybe) is hard to say. This isn't to say I don't support my fellow leftists either, I will always believe a socialist society will be better, I simply wish so many in history did not fall to the very fascism and authoritarianism their foes did.
This is not the fault of the ideology persay but of people and the toleration for continued capitalist modes of trade (looking at you Maoists) rather than a transition to a gift-based economy (which is to say, all trade is voluntarily given gifts from individual to individual or social organization to social organization).
Anarchy is the default mode of human existence, a non-system that recognizes our desire to aid each other at all costs and living in harmomy with nature.
I am Agnostic
The existence of the gods in a literal sense actually doesn't matter to me. They have been and always will be merely symbols and stories for cultures to gather around and find comfort in, the existence of a soul does not belay a meta-physical Thing but rather our symbolic relationship to it, our personal belief that it is something Worth Respecting.
This isn't to say the gods do not speak to people or that stars do not guide us or that birds cannot tell the future, I think you can find what you need from things like tarot and tea reading because they aid your already existing conceptions and strengthen your conviction. Literal, physical divine intervention, on the other hand, has likely never occurred -- though if it verifiably has it really wouldn't change my opinion on the universe.
